A greenback is only a scrap of paper, printed in inexperienced ink. What provides it worth is the promise printed on it by the federal government. As a result of we take the federal government at its phrase, we imagine the greenback’s promise and the greenback turns into beneficial to us. Equally, the Bible is only a e-book. Its pages are loaded with phrases similar to some other e-book. What provides it worth are the guarantees represented by these phrases and the One who stands behind them.
When somebody makes a promise to us, we weigh the trustworthiness of the phrases by his or her character. In relation to taking God at his phrase, we are able to likewise measure credibility by character. Clearly, we have now nothing to fret about there! “In God we belief.”
